Installatie Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope#

• download install CD
• install on /dev/sda5
• (there are no proprietary hardware drivers in use )
• configure wireless connection
• install :
  • eclipse (new download)
  • sun-java-sdk6
  • eclipse svn plugin
  • codex (mp3), automatically selected when playing first mp3
  • openssh-server
  • checkgmail
  • ant
  • gtk-gnutella
  • aMule
  • ant
  • powertop
• copy directories from old home, including .ssh dir
• create user gast
• decrease default fonts from 10 to 9
• install dutch dictionary in Firefox
• change gnutella/aMule port to (firewall)
• run update/upgrade
• add echo 5 > /sys/bus/pci/drivers/iwl3945/0000:02:00.0/power_level to /etc/init.d/bootmisc.sh
• add alias l='ls -la --color-auto' to ~/.bashrc
