Fortinet 60D firewall#

I got an older Fortinet 60D (Fortigate), and trying to use it as a firewall on my home network.

Factory reset#

• power off the device
• press and hold the reset button (with a needle)
• power on (stick in the cable) while holding the reset button for 10-30 secs
• wait until the status light starts blinking fast (can take 2 to 3 mins)
• press the reset button once more
• connect utp cable to port 1
• login with user "admin" and empty password
• point browser at https://192.168.1.99
