Amahi install#

• create virtualbox image with Ubuntu 12.04 server
• create account at http://www.amahi.org
• create profile:
  • gateway: 10.0.0.138
  • HDA: 10.0.0.200
  • HDA install code FKQ3GT4
• reboot VM after install
• wget http://u12.amahi.org/install-amahi
• chmod 755 install-amahi && ./install-amahi

I decided that Amahi is not something for me.
It looks like it is something for the novice player, it has no options, and has things like DHCP and DNS server, I don't need that.

I also have no option to play audio on the server.

After some searching further, I decided to checkout mpd in combination with ssh rsync and the Android FolderSync Lite app.
